Easy Pay (EFT) Plan
When you enroll in Easy Pay, we deduct your payment directly from your checking or savings account by an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). You can save time and money because with Easy Pay you won’t have to worry about checks, stamps, misplaced bills, payment stubs, envelopes, or best of all, payment card processing fees.
Ways to Enroll in Easy Pay EFT
- You can enroll in Easy Pay on our Member Site. (Visit our FAQ page for more info on creating an account.) Simply navigate to your Billing Account Summary, click Enroll in Recurring Payments, and select Easy Pay EFT Bank Account Payments.
- You can enroll online using our Easy Pay EFT application form.
- You can ask your agent to submit an Easy Pay EFT application on your behalf. They can also provide you with a printed application form, if that’s your preference.
- You can print, complete, and mail your enrollment application: Download our Easy Pay (EFT) application form.
To complete the application, you will need your bank account information (specifically the name of your bank, their routing number, and your account number) and the day of the month you would like your payment to be deducted from your account.
Easy Pay FAQs
How does Easy Pay work?
You authorize payments to be automatically deducted from your checking or savings account by completing and signing the Authorization/Application form.
What if my payment date falls on a weekend or a holiday?
Your payment will be processed on your bank’s next business day.
How often will I receive a statement?
You will receive an initial confirmation statement showing the payment date and amount. You will not receive another statement unless your deduction amount changes by more than $1.00, the payment date changes, or the bank/bank account number changes.
What happens if I don’t have enough money in my account on the day my payment is due?
If the account doesn’t have adequate funds, we’ll notify you and an NSF fee will be applied.
Do you offer a paid-in-full discount?
No. We do not offer a paid-in-full discount, regardless of payment method. However, paying in full does avoid the service charges that come with installment payments.
Are there any payment card processing fees with Easy Pay?
No. Paying with Easy Pay EFT avoids the 2.99% processing fee that our card processing provider automatically adds to each payment made with a debit or credit card.*
Are there any additional billing fees with Easy Pay?
Billing invoice service charges may be applied, depending on payment plan and paperless enrollment:
- EFT Full Pay: No service charge
- EFT Installments – Paperless Bill: $1.00 service charge
- EFT Installments – Paper Bill: $3.00 service charge
What happens if I change banks or my account?
No problem. Just notify us at least 4 days before your scheduled due date.
If I receive a regular billing statement after I sign up for Easy Pay, should I pay it?
Yes. Normal billing activity will continue until we have completed the set-up and notified you. To keep your insurance current while we change your account to Easy Pay, you will need to pay at least the minimum due on the statement.
Other Online Payment Options
One-Time Payment Using a Credit Card, Debit Card, or E-Check*
Our Quick Pay service—which enabled making a one-time payment without logging in to our Member Site—is no longer available.
To make a one-time payments online, you'll need to create an online account on our Member Site. (Visit our FAQ page for more info on creating an account.) Once you're logged in, simply navigate to your Billing Account Summary and click Make a Payment.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience these adjustments may cause. For questions or assistance, please contact our Member Services team.
Recurring Payments Using a Credit Card or Debit Card*
Members who are registered with an online account can set up and manage recurring credit card or debit card payments. Simply navigate to your Billing Account Summary, click Enroll in Recurring Payments, and select AutoPay Credit Card Payments.
*Important notice for Members who use debit or credit cards
Members who use payment cards will see that a 2.99% payment processing fee has been automatically added to each debit or credit card transaction by our card processing provider. Mutual of Enumclaw does not benefit financially from the fee in any way. To avoid fees altogether, please consider enrolling in our Easy Pay (EFT) program.
Paperless Billing Option
When you sign up for our Paperless option, you will receive notifications by email when billing documents are available to be viewed on our Member Site (bills, EFT change notices, late payment notices, etc.).
How to enroll: Using your online profile credentials, log in to our Member Site and visit the Paperless Settings page (which can be accessed from menu under the Billing tab). Once on the page, simply click the Paperless Option checkboxes next to each account you wish to enroll.
A note on service charges: Please note that unless you pay in full, you will still see a billing invoice service charge even with a paperless bill. (This is because an invoice is still created with paperless billing—only the delivery method is changed.)
However, enrolling in paperless billing provides a $2.00 discount on service charges for each installment payment.
Claims Payments
We can send members and claimants claims-related payments by paper check or Electronic Funds Transfer (subject to some limitations).
Please contact our 24/7 Claims Response Center at 877-425-2580 or submit the form on our Contact Us page for questions or assistance.
Note to Members: Our Easy Pay EFT option for premium payments cannot be used for Claims payments.
