Mutual of Enumclaw Hires Industry Veteran Bob Otis as new President and CEO

Seattle, Washington—April 11, 2024

Otis joins Mutual of Enumclaw with more than 30 years of executive level experience in property and casualty insurance, with leading firms including Allstate, USAA, and National Lloyds. Most recently, he was President of Kemper Corporation’s Personal Insurance business unit. Otis began his career as an underwriter with Safeco and holds the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter designation. He earned a BA from the University of Dayton, and an MBA from Xavier University.

He has deep experience in both agency and direct distribution channels, while leading large national product lines as well as strong regional and niche carriers.
