Welcome to Mutual of Enumclaw! You’re joining a long line of people who for nearly 125 years have partnered with us to help protect what matters most to them. We do not take that responsibility lightly.

For us, being thoughtful about how we serve our members is at the heart of everything we do. It’s what sets us apart. We draw on the inspiration of our farmer founders whose goal in 1898 was to help support and protect each other. The same inspiration, to thoughtfully look out for your neighbor, remains our guiding light today as we collaborate with our members, our local independent agent partners, and the communities we serve.

Our New Member Checklist

Sign up for paperless – Tap into additional member resources, save valuable time―and some trees― and stay connected from anywhere with our paperless policy and paperless billing program.

Download our mobile app – The app works with iPhone and Android and allows you to file a claim, view a proof of insurance ID card, call for roadside assistance, and more.

Choose a payment option – Explore the numerous ways available to you for easy, convenient payments that work with how you live.

Review our claims process – We’ve earned the top customer satisfaction ranking¹ as well as high marks from four out of five members² and a more than 90 percent rating among independent agents for our claims service.² Learn how it works.

Conduct a home inventory – Make a list of the valuables in your home and take pictures, should they become necessary to support a claim down the road.

Review your policy with us and/or your agent – Make a plan to go over your application or account with a Member Services rep and/or your agent to make sure the right vehicles, mortgage company/lienholders, and drivers are on the policy.

Pronounce Enumclaw like a local? – Enumclaw is taken from Enumclaw Mountain near our headquarters. The mountain’s name is thought to originate in a Salish story of two brothers―Enumclaw and Kapoonis―who were turned into thunder and lightning, respectively, by their father. We know it can be a bear to pronounce, so here’s some guidance.
